Team Geissler Hits the Streets
Team Geissler was out in full force for the New Jersey Marathon and Long Branch Half Marathon on April 29, 2007. It was the first official race for Team Geissler and certainly one for the ages. Jared (L) completed the full marathon in 4:10:18 and yours truly (R) completed the half marathon in 1:43:57. For me, it was my first race of ANY kind as I've never even done a 5K and for Jared it was his first marathon with only a handful of 5K's under his belt. If you ask me, I think we both did well and this certainly bodes well for the future. We've got a couple triathlons lined up already (Wyckoff Triathlon on June 16 and Randolph Triathlon on July 7). We may throw some more into the mix and we're looking into some fall marathons.
