One more thing...

I just added another counter to count each and every hit. I'm a php wizard!

(Not really, I just stole some more code from that Auburn website and added it to the existing counter.)

Counter Nazis

Those nazis over at digits.com got bent out of shape because I was effectively stealing their counter (using it without giving them a link back to their site). So, they scrapped my counter. No big whoop, I just found another one. I took this one from the folks over at the Office of Information Technology at Auburn University. Thanks!

This one will only count unique visitors, whereas the old one counted repeats (just not consecutively... so like, hitting reload a gozillion times wouldn't count as extra hits, but coming back like an hour or two later would count as an extra hit). This one *should* only count everyone once and only once.

I think the old one was up over 3000 hits... But, since this new one only counts everyone once, I'm fully expecting it to get to like, 5 and just stall out. Ha!

Stalkers and Prank Calls and Beards, OH MY!

STALKERS AND PRANK CALLS AND BEARDS, OH MY!

It seems this past weekend was an eventful one which included my first stalker and (right click > "save target as") my first prank call. I guess this means that I've finally "made it". All the blood, sweat and tears finally paid off. *sniff* I'm so happy.

I've also added some winter beard pics of my own and some user submissions as well.

Wow, quite the update. Enjoy!

As I understand it, there might be some people having some problems signing up for the email list... if you've signed up and haven't received anything within the past week or two (or at all), then something went wrong. Sick as a dawg

Hey everyone. I'm sick as... sick right now. I had snapped a nice picture of my nose running like a faucet, but the picture's at home and right now I'm at work. It was pretty gross, so I guess you're all lucky that I dropped the ball on that one. But, even in my weakened state, I was able to snap this gem last night.

I was also going to post another rejection story, but that's at home too and I'm at work. Man, I really suck. Feel free to load me up with some negative points for this one.

Everyone talks a good game about putting stickers up. "Bro, send me some stickers and I'll put them jamz everywhere!" Ha, right. I'm pretty sure that there's ~60 people out there with a stack of stickers sitting on their dresser (i.e. pretty much everyone I've given them to except the executive director of Keeping it Real). Speaking of which, here's Jeff with a quick lesson on how to keep it real with ber.com stickers...

(Note: this all happened within ~2-3 hours of receiving his stickers)

It seems our neighbors to the north aren't digging the site, as shown by the negative scene points on the last couple of entries... Thanks, jerks!

I redid the "Stickers: Where Are They Now!?" page, so it's a lot better now. Sure, it essentially looks the same, but it's different, trust me. And I've been sitting on some pictures of the stickers in action, so hopefully I'll get those up by the end of the week. I just need to figure out how to work them into the page... Soon enough.

Finally, our good friend and executive director of Keeping it Real is hard at work doing a write-up of the most recent AYCE event at Royal Buffet & Grill. Hopefully that'll be up by the end of today (tomorrow morning at the latest).
