Sticker popularity!

Since people seem to be more and more interested in stickers, I've decided to setup a little map to show where they are. It's neat, check it out!

I'm also working on a page for some pictures of these stickers and where they've ended up. I've taken a few myself, but I'm hoping a majority of them will come from the people I've sent stickers out to... *hint hint*

If the font appears too big or too small, and you're using Internet Explorer, hold down CONTROL and scroll the mouse wheel up/down. Voila!

They're baaaaaaack!

OK, the site is back up! I know, I know, it looks identical to how it did before. That's the whole idea! But now, it's mostly done in php (save for a couple of the pages) and as a result should run more efficiently now! Hoorah!

More importantly, MY NEW BATTERY CHARGER FOR MY CAMERA CAME YESTERDAY! HOORAH!

The b0iz and I are heading into NYC tonight armed with a handful of stickers... hopefully it'll be a good time. We'll see.

Down time...

I have some good news and I have some bad news. The good news is that I'm doing an overhaul on the entire site. The bad news is that I'll be taking it down for anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days while I make all the changes. I'm not sure when it'll happen... maybe this weekend sometime.

A few things to cover...

1) After about a month or so of abuse and begging, I finally got my hands on another tale of rejection. Check it out!

2) If anyone see's a battery charger for a Canon s200 digital camera floating around, let me know. Mine's lost somewhere between Parsippany, NJ and Waynesboro, PA, courtesy of the US Postal Service. The good news is that after going without it for 2 weeks I opted to order a new one online last night, which means I should be getting the original one in the mail when I get home from work tonight!

3) How does the page look? I've done quite a bit of tweaking the last week or two and it's come to my attention that some people's browsers make the fonts 3x the size of what it's supposed to be and the links across the top of the page (eg. news, pictorials, stories, etc) don't show up. If you could, just leave a comment below letting me know if it shows up aiight or not.

4) Everyone's asking, "Bri, how's the beard?!" and "How about some more shots of the beard?!" and "How's the WB coming along!?" Rest easy, friends... the winter beard is something that can not and will not be rushed. Good things come to those who wait.

5) OK, no one's asked about the winter beard. I made up that last one.

It's not the destination...

CSS has been somewhat of a journey these past couple days. I've finally gotten all the pages switched over, although I'm sure I've screwed something up (again). A big thanks goes out to "Rower_CPU" over at the macrumors forums. Thanks to him my page should look less horrible on Safari and other such browsers.

The Art of Cascading Style Sheets

I went ahead and edited most of my webpages so that they now use CSS. In theory, you shouldn't notice many (if any) changes to the site. This is all "behind the scenes" type stuff. So far I've done all the text-based pages... now to move onto the rest of the site (i.e., the pictorials and this news page). Enjoy!

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the winter beards...

I've started my winter beard. I'm about a week or so into it... I basically trimmed down the Gettysburg so it was even with the incoming stubble. We are go for auto sequence launch!

Also, I know I'm not the only one down with the ol' winter beard. So, if you're growing a winter beard (this goes for girls too... c'mon, equal rights!), send me some pics and I'll hook it up. Perhaps this could become a repository for winter beards? I'm down.

The order for the second batch of stickers is underway. I also think someone was ordering stickers for their band (from that same place) put me down as a referral, so word on the street has it I might see some extra action coming my way! Score!

Wow, what a weekend...

Holy cow. 3 days of mayhem and madness which included superbeds, thongs, a guy in a tennis dress, soccer, some kickass dags and a couple rounds of Chipotle. Oh, and the first shots of the revolution have been fired. Consider yourself warned!

And yes, I did wear a thong. Not only did it result in hilarity, but it also resulted in this complaint letter to Jake Taylor for their shoddy product.
